You can imagine our shock and disappointment when we heard this. After three weeks of going back and forth with ACP Mani and Adodis Technologies working through our site template and logo design, they had not begun implementation yet. ACP explained that once they receive feedback for the design, they can start the implementation phase.
So imagine being 3 weeks into a 5 week project, with only 2 weeks remaining, and then hearing that your contractor has not started work yet. Needless to say, we were not very pleased, but we told ACP to begin right away. We were also immediately concerned that they would not meet their deadline as promised so we also asked ACP for his expected timeline for the path forward.
One thing worth pointing out is that during our initial discussions before choosing to go with Adodis is that Purandhar (GP) recommended using a Content Management System (CMS) called Joomla to build our site. One of the advantages of using a CMS system is that templates can be used to modify the look and feel of the site without effecting core capabilities. Basically site design, layout, logos etc. can be developed independently of any core capabilities. So what should have been done is that our site template, logo, and back-end capability should have been in development concurrently. This unfortunately was not the case.
This is a cropped screenshot of one of the updated logos that they sent to us:
